Ok fellow forum photogs... help me out here. If I can have only 3 lenses in my bag... what 3 lenses would you recommend that would cover most all photo opportunities?
Don't be shy now ;D

One of the first primes I purchased was the 50mm 1.4 and have not regretted spending extra on it at all. I am also a fan of the 100-400mm with IS for the long shots, and my 105mm Sigma Macro.
That does it for me.

Interesting... I'm thinking Canon 28-135 IS for my walk-around... and then maybe the Sigma 15-30 EX DG for my wide shots... and lastly the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX DG APO with Sigma 2x teleconverter since I can't justify the cost of a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS with Canon 2x teleconverter for a hobby lens. I guess there are a lot of different ways to get a well equiped 3 lens bag... and then again... I guess I could get a bigger bag and go for more lenses
